OUR MISSION:
We conserve the natural state of land, protect wildlife and allow for education and study of nature in it’s pristine state.
Preserving More than 2,000 Acres of High-Quality Habitat
The Greenwood Foundation has more than 2,000 acres of beautiful woodlands, wetlands and lakes. With more than two miles on the Little Pigeon River, there’s always a wealth of wildlife that can be seen thriving in their natural habitats.
More than a Safe-Haven for Wildlife
Our decades of advocacy and conservation in action have helped us build relationships with other like-minded people that share our love for the awe-inspiring landscapes that can be found in Northern Michigan. Our love for the land and it’s people inspires us to offer our facilities to select groups for education or scientific purposes.
Located Right in the Heart of Pigeon River Country
Far enough away to get away from it all, but close enough to bring everyone together - Greenwood Foundation is located 20 miles Northeast of Gaylord and offers opportunities for overnight stays for approved groups throughout the year.
